Lessons
1. Having children is God’s design for all married men and women (Genesis 1:28, 9:1)
2. To reject God’s gender-specific roles to men (i.e.provisionary care) and women (i.e.child bearing) is to put their salvation at risk (1 Timothy 2:15, 5:8)
3. God has specifically designated women to raise their children, especially in their early years (1 Timothy 5:10, 1 Samuel 1:11-2:11, Proverbs 31, Titus 2:3-5)
